The Bees: New Britain just concluded a 7 day, 7 game home stand. They are in the middle of a stretch in which they will play either York or Lancaster for 2 consecutive weeks. In yesterday’s game, Conor Bierfeldt hit his team leading 16th home run of the season, and Brian Dupra pitched 7 full innings, his longest outing since June 1st.

The Opposition: Lancaster is beginning a 7 day, 7 game home stand of their own with this series against New Britain, and then Sugar Land will visit for 4 games. In between series with the Bees, Lancaster visited Southern Maryland for a set which was originally scheduled to include the Freedom Division first half championship game, but that contest had to be postponed due to inclement weather.

Starting Pitchers – New Britain: RHP Kyle Simon (6-8, 4.22) | Lancaster: LHP Jarret Leverett (7-5, 5.26)

Key to the Game – Power up: The Bees will be visiting Clipper Magazine Stadium, which has been very friendly to them in the home run department. On the season, they have hit 12 home runs in Lancaster, which is the most of any visiting ballpark, and it counts for more than 25% of their total home runs hit on the road. The next closest is Long Island, where they have hit 9 home runs on the season. Look for the Bees to heat up the bats and aim beyond the wall, putting runs on the board with the long ball.

Broadcast: The Bees’ Official YouTube Channel (youtube.com/NewBritainBees) and Facebook Live (facebook.com/newbritainbees), starting at 6:15 P.M.

Song of the Day: Ray Lamontagne - Three More Days
